A simply essential day trip! Visit the highlights of the mystical & unspoiled of Prespa that has attracted visitors for years. Its spectacular beauty is beyond question.
Itinerary: Tirana-Prespa-Tirana
Pick up from hotel in Tirana and depart to Prespa. This tour includes visit to the Golem Grad Island on Lake Prespa trough Galicica Mountain which is a National Park. Galicica Mountain separates Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa, from the top of mountain Galicica you will see the most incredible views of Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. A short stop for lunch, after the break we will visit the Golem Grad Island, which is reached by one and half hour boat ride. The coast of Lake Prespa is not populated and on your way there you will see wild nature, a lot of birds.
The island houses many types of birds and water snakes. On the island there are remains of houses from the time of the Roman Empire and a church St. Peter dating from the 14th century. We will return back to Tirana in the afternoon. End of our Service.
