Excursion to Pogradec

This tour takes you on a route created in such a way as to help you best experience the absolute beauty of the nature of the city of Pogradec.

We will be taking you from Tirana to Pogradec, known also as the city of flowers and one of the must-visit cities in Albania. A journey along the ancient roman road Via Egnatia, drive through Elbasan (ancient Scampa).  Here we stop for a short break to visit its fine Ottoman walls and we continue to Ohrid Lake, the deepest lake in the entire Balkan Peninsula. Lunch will be at a traditional local restaurant in Drilon, nice spot not far from Ohrid Lake (once a favorite holiday place for the ex-dictator Hoxha).
