Jeep Safari in Kruja, the oldest town of Abania. This adventure tour to Kruja is one that shouldn’t be missed. The tour starts in Gjiri Lalsit with an sand off-road excursion through the pines to the sands of beach. After our heart beating adventure we will drive to Kepi Rodonit. During our stop at Kepi Rodonit we will visit military bunkers build in communism time and the castle of the Albanian national hero, Skenderbeg.
DEPARTURE AT 09:00 FROM SHESHI SKENDERBEJ
After leaving Tirana, our Jeep Safari will continue to the Gjiri Lalsit forest. The adventure begins where the Jeeps will drive at the sand terrain and inside the forest. Than we will drive in an asphalt road at Kepi Rodonit to visit the military bunkers build in communism time. After the bunker visit we will walk to the castle of Skenderbeg. Walking for 45-60 minutes to the castle at a simple pathway that does not require special physical preparation. We will visit the church of St. Anthony and the beach nearby, where Prince Karl Topia had set up a site for ships. The church is located very close to where the Jeep stops. On this site we will have a brake of 30 minutes. After the short brake, we will start the jeep adventure with off road driving at the remote villages of Lalez area and afterwards taking the asphalt road of Fushe-Kruje. On the way to Kruja we will stop at a local restaurant and winery having lunch and tasting the local wine. After the lunch brake we head to the start point and will be the end of this heart beating tour.
